Notched and Final Drilled Upper Baggage Bulkhead
Today I cut and shaped the notches in the upper baggage bulkhead. I think they came out pretty good.
I clamped the bulkhead to some scrap wood, drilled a #30 pilot hole then used my uni-bit to enlarge the top of the hole to final size. I then made vertical cuts to remove the material below the hole, and filed and sanded the notches smooth. To drill the screw holes, I clecoed to two halves together on the workbench and drilled the screw holes first with a #30, then enlarged them to final size with a #19 bit.
Works for me!
