More Fuselage Deburring
More work on the large parts today with the major focus on deburring the center and aft fuselage section.
To get to the bottom, I carefully tipped the center section upright.
I have been storing the center section on some old egg crate foam. I put the foam back down on the floor, but before I could tilt the center section back onto it Sonoma had made herself comfortable. I didn't have the heart to move her.
I had my wife come out and help me turn the aft section upright, then deburred the long rows of longeron rivets.
Oops! When I flipped the fuse back over I found that I had drilled into the F-711D angle while drilling the longerons. It looks like I'll be remaking this piece… hmmmmm… maybe I can just trim it down. I'll have to do some research on this one.
