Fuselage Riveting Day 1
I didn't expect to take this many days away from the project but as I mentioned previously, we were out of town for a bit, and it took me a few days to arrange for riveting help. EAA Chapter 663 president Ralph Cloud was kind enough to come over and give me a hand today and we got a fair amount done in about 2-3 hours.
I had a few minutes before Ralph arrived so I installed the bolts that attach the lower longerons to the lower firewall angles. I haven't torqued them yet, but they are snug for now.
After a few hours we had riveted one side from the F-704 back to where the fuselage sections meet. I've got a few minor rivet issues to address, but I'll deal with them later. Thanks Ralph!!!
