Cut Light Hole in Left Leading Edge

I have to admit, the thought of cutting a giant hole into one of my nice clean leading edges was making me nervous. I took my time, and it turned out pretty good.

First, I taped the template into place, and I measured and remeasured the dimensions for its location.

Lines drawn, nothing left to do but cut!

I did the rough cut with a cut-off wheel in the Dremel tool. It grabbed an edge in one or two places and shot out of the hole, but no harm was done.

Using a file and sandpaper, I slowly and methodically removed the material. I tried the little sanding drum in the Dremel, and it worked pretty well, but they really seemed to get chewed up by the sharp edges. I am glad this is done. One more to go.
