Right Landing Light Prep

Time to rivet the next leading edge, but before I do, I installed the nutplates on the ribs for the landing/taxi light. I am going with a light in each wing, so this was a repeat of the work I did the other day. Not too much work was done today, but certainly enough to call it progress.

Using the template supplied with the Duckworks light kit, I marked, drilled and installed nutplates in the specified locations. When the leading edges are disassembled as they are here, you have to be careful to install the nutplates on the correct side of the ribs.

I then clecoed it all together in preparation for riveting. I was tired and it was late, so rather than start making a lot of noise, I called it quits for the night.
