Riveted Left Leading Edge

I really need to be better at updating this log. I am writing this a week later, and I can't remember what I did. I think the page title is pretty self-explanatory, but I can't recall if I hit any snags or had any pertinent comments.

After some modification to my wing cradle, I was ready to rivet. Probably didn't need to, but I put clecos in every hole.

Not bad, not bad at all. I did all the riveting solo, and it turned out fine. I really think the 1" non-swivel flat set I got from Cleveland tools is the secret. It is risky, but it does produce good results. I did exactly as the directions said to do. I set the first row of rivets, ok two rows, using the squeezer and 4" no-hole yoke, then worked my way to the nose along each rivet line using the gun and bucking bar.

My first LE on the spar... wow... it is awesome to see it without clecos. The line you see is just where I removed some of the marks from the set with fine (white) scotchbrite.

I just had to mount the tank for the full effect.
